I grew up in suburban Baltimore and after graduating high school I quickly joined the US Army where I served six years as a Medic. While my service to my country was important to me and time well spent, I felt I needed to try something a bit less structured and started a career in the art of Tattooing. I was able to mix my love of art and travel, with my new found trade and began to work my way around the world learning and practicing where ever I could find a place to set up my equipment. I was fortunate enough to have crossed the paths of a lot of great tattooers and other artists during my travels and they all contributed in guiding me in the right direction and helping keep my art ways on track. After visiting more than 30 countries on four continents I realized that one thing I loved to do, every where I stopped, was go fishing. I soon learned that art, travel and fishing were possible to do almost anywhere on the planet and I could work and do the things I loved at the same time.... this is where the fish illustration started and has continued ever since. While tattooing is still my trade drawing is what I love to do the most ...it has been a constant with me as long as I can remember. I am now spliting my time between tattooing , fish illustration and fishing ....a great mix and one I hope will continue for some time to come.
